The Healthy Habits - Simplified Guide is a simple and fun course designed to guide you through the basics of healthy living and making healthy lifestyle choices.

It’s always difficult to put concrete theory into practice so we’ve simplified it for you. This course pairs the healthy habits know-how with tips and fun challenges to help you get these right in your everyday life … starting with practical steps that you can implement today.

Topics include:

· why drinking more water really can change your life

· what (not) to eat

· sugar - the good, the bad and the ugly

· emotional eating

· and how to live what you’ve learnt every day

Healthy habits aren’t built overnight so we’ve staggered the course to unlock a new module each week. Each module includes a weekly challenge which will help you to develop the healthy habits in the guide. Look out for the weekly email that will inform you that your new guide for the next week is available.

“I’ve made it my mission in life to help people to care for themselves and their health.”

Dr. Hill’s passion lies in understanding the impact of lifestyle and food choices on health and well being – and helping people to use this knowledge in their everyday lives.

In his 47 years experience working as a qualified pharmacist in hospitals, private practice and his own managed healthcare company, Peter saw people struggling with the very real effects of unhealthy lifestyle choices and their long term consequences like diabetes and cholesterol problems.

Seeing this made Peter want to find a way to help people care for themselves. This curiosity took him around the world to New York to study with renowned endocrinologist Dr. Richard K Bernstein, and to Rhodes and Stanford Medical School to further his studies.

He found that people living with serious lifestyle-related health conditions could improve their conditions, and their quality of life, by learning how to take better care of themselves. This care involves a few simple changes to lifestyle such as taking medication correctly; changing eating, exercise and relaxation habits; and building a support network.

Importantly, he found that this doesn’t only apply to living with lifestyle-related health conditions, but to preventing them as well as optimising health, even for the everyday ‘healthy’ average Joe.

Whether it’s about simply staying healthy by eating correctly, getting enough sleep, etc., or managing health and preventing avoidable health risks, Dr. Hill has focused his work on developing easy to understand ways for people to identify, set and achieve their own health goals.

Special Interests:

  • Management of lifestyle related diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, cholesterol problems, blood pressure problems, even cancer and dementia through lifestyle and behaviour self-care.
